Meet Rudy, a 3-year-old Terrier mix with a heart full of love and a zest for life! This charming boy weighs 53lbs and carries the stories of his past with quiet dignity, but he's ready to embrace a bright future filled with cozy moments and fun. Rudy is a sweet and eager-to-please companion who thrives on being near his people, whether it's lounging around the house or exploring the world with his curious nose. You'll be charmed by the funny snorts he makes when he's deep in investigation! He enjoys puzzle toys and lick mats, and his excitement often manifests in playful sprints and pounces on his favorite toys, followed by a fun game of pretend wrestling.

Ideal Home

Rudy would likely do best in a home with a yard, or with an owner who is patient and committed to continuing his training. While he might chase cats, he's generally good with other dogs and kids.

Ongoing Health

Rudy is vaccinated, microchipped, and has tested negative for heartworm. He has also been neutered.

Training & Support

Rudy is crate-trained but prefers to free roam. He is potty-trained and generally well-behaved, but he does have a high prey drive for small animals and is still learning leash manners. He's also unsure how to play with other dogs, so opportunities to learn from a canine sibling or through continued socialization could be beneficial.
