Zac is a handsome 5-year-old Anatolian Shepherd mix, weighing around 60 pounds. He's a loyal companion with a perfect balance of playful energy and laid-back cuddles. Zac was rescued from a county shelter and underwent FHO surgery on a rear leg to correct a previous injury. He has healed beautifully and requires no further medical intervention or medication. Zac is house-trained, crate-trained, and enjoys his kennel with a tasty treat. He absolutely adores people, thriving on attention, belly rubs, and gentle pets. He's known to be a bit of a conversationalist, especially if dinner or treats are running late, and his vocal personality will keep you smiling! Zac has shown no signs of resource guarding and enjoys toys and treats.
Ideal Home
Zac would thrive in a home where he won't be left alone for long periods. He enjoys having other dogs around and seems happiest when he has canine companions or people nearby to share life with. He would do well with a family or single adopter looking for a devoted dog who will shower them with love and keep them company. While he hasn't lived with young children, his foster believes he'd do well with a family willing to continue teaching him not to jump up when he gets excited.
Ongoing Health
Zac is fully healed from his FHO surgery and is not on any medications.
