Meet Kai, a delightful 4-year-old shepherd mix who weighs 47 pounds and is ready to bring boundless joy into your life! Kai is a champion of enthusiasm, greeting everyone with a wagging tail and a desire to make new friends. She adores playing with dogs of all sizes and is wonderfully affectionate with people of all ages. Her favorite activities include zoomies, chasing, and playing with her toys. When it's time to unwind, Kai is happy to snuggle up for pets and belly rubs.

Ideal Home

Kai would thrive in an active household where she can get plenty of exercise. She's already done beautifully with children and would likely be a wonderful companion for a family.

Kai is a healthy girl with no known ongoing health conditions.

Training & Support

Kai is house-trained, crate-trained, and leash-trained. She may pull slightly on the leash when she sees another dog, simply because she's excited to meet them. While she's generally happy-go-lucky, loud noises or storms can make her a little nervous. With love and reassurance, she settles well. It's always recommended to crate any new dog until they've had time to acclimate to their new environment.

Transporation

Kai is currently being fostered in San Antonio, Texas. Our rescue can arrange transport out of state once she is matched with an approved adopter.
