Viking

Viking is a handsome fellow with a heart of gold, approximately 6 years old and weighing around 82 lbs. He arrived at the shelter as a stray, and we're learning more about his wonderful personality each day! Viking has shown himself to be friendly and relaxed around other dogs, making him a potential pal for canine companions.

Ideal Home

Viking would thrive in a home with an experienced owner who can provide confident leadership. He has a strong personality when it comes to guidance, so an "alpha" owner with a good understanding of dogs will be key to his success.

Ongoing Health

Viking has been neutered, is up-to-date on vaccinations, and has been microchipped and dewormed. He also comes with 2 free vet visits and a Healthy Start Certificate with VCA Hospitals, including a $250 health credit (restrictions apply).

Training & Support

Viking has a strong personality, so consistent and confident leadership will be important. He is a wonderful dog who will benefit from clear guidance from an experienced owner. This pet comes with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org, offering access to trainers, behaviorists, and online resources. You can text unlimited questions to Petcademy and they'll respond within 24 hours, Monday-Friday.

Transporation

Viking is currently located at our Adoption Center, next to CAL Ranch at 232 North Jones (I-95) Suite 170. Walk-ins are welcome during our adoption hours, Saturdays and Sundays from 10 AM to 4 PM.
