About Diva

Diva is a 1-year-old, spayed Lab mix weighing about 35 pounds. She's a playful, affectionate, and outgoing girl with plenty of energy and love to give! Diva adores running, playing, and chasing with other dogs, especially those who can keep up with her active spirit. She's a happy girl with a wagging tail, equally content exploring on her own or romping with a canine friend. She walks politely on leash without pulling, making her a joy to take on daily adventures. Around cats, she's mostly indifferent, though she might sneak a bite of their food if she can! While she hasn't lived with children, her foster believes she'd do well with kids, particularly those old enough to manage her enthusiasm and keep an eye on their snacks. Diva is crate trained and does well for short periods, especially during meals or when her foster is away. She's very food motivated, which makes her eager to learn, but she should be fed separately to avoid any food-snatching incidents. Thankfully, she's happy to share her toys! Diva is outgoing, playful, smart, and loving, greeting strangers with a friendly wag. She's still getting used to car rides, so long trips will require some patience and gentle encouragement. One of her charming quirks is her vocalization when corrected; she'll "howl" as if arguing her point, making it seem like she's holding a conversation!

Ideal Home

Diva would thrive in a home where someone is typically present to provide her with the structure, love, and activity she craves. She'll do best with regular walks, plenty of playtime, and the opportunity to sleep close to her people. A home with another dog who enjoys active play would be a wonderful fit for her.

Ongoing Health

Diva is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Diva is crate trained and food motivated, making her eager to learn. She should be fed separately from other dogs. She is still building comfort with car rides. When corrected, she becomes vocal, which is an endearing trait.
