Tasha

Meet Tasha, a spirited two-year-old Husky mix who's brimming with the enthusiasm and charm her breed is known for! Huskies are typically active, bright, and social dogs who thrive in homes that can engage both their minds and bodies. Although her past is a mystery, Tasha has quickly shown us her true colors: she's affectionate, playful, friendly, and very well-socialized. She may take a moment to warm up, but once she does, she's a joy to be around, loves interacting with other dogs, and has a warm, eager personality that makes bonding easy. Tasha is perfectly house-trained, has no destructive tendencies, and is remarkably quiet. She's also a good traveler once she gets comfortable in the car. While she can be a bit energetic, she's well-mannered and knows how to relax.

Ideal Home

Tasha would thrive in a home that provides structure, activity, and companionship. She would be especially happy living with another friendly, playful dog who can match her energy. A home where she gets plenty of daily exercise and enrichment will help her stay balanced and content. Because she's young and enthusiastic, a home with adults or older children (12+) who understand playful behavior would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

All adult dogs at our shelter receive veterinary health checks, are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and dewormed. Flea treatment is provided if necessary before adoption.

Training & Support

Tasha generally listens well and learns quickly, making training a rewarding experience. She does have a few energetic habits, like getting a bit mouthy and occasionally jumping up when excited, but these are typical for a lively young dog and respond well to consistent guidance.
