Her dream day? Snoozing on a cozy couch, collecting belly rubs, squeaking her beloved stuffies to her heart's content, and basking in the love of her people. Mabel is the kind of girl who gives her whole heart once she trusts you; she just takes a minute to make sure you're as kind as you look. Once she knows you're safe, get ready for the melt-your-heart cuddles and her signature Mabel lean, where she presses her whole body against you for hugs. She loves love and is the perfect match for someone who wants a calm, affectionate companion who's happiest just being near you.
Ideal Home
Mabel would thrive in a calm, loving home, ideally a house rather than an apartment, where she can relax and enjoy life without too many leashed encounters. She'd be happy as the only pet or with a respectful, chill doggy friend. With slow introductions and supervision, she could also share her home with a confident cat.
Ongoing Health
Mabel is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines. She has received multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. She has also been tested for heartworms.
Training & Support
Mabel is gentle and easy to correct, and she loves routine. While she generally has good manners, she can get a little unsure of other dogs while on leash.

Transporation
Mabel is located at our Texas-based facility. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue-run USDA-certified transport system. This system ensures every pet travels safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick-up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You will have the opportunity to track their journey in real-time, see photo updates, learn fun facts, and connect with fellow adopters and fosters through our private Facebook event page. A surcharge of $87 applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
