Hi, I'm Betty White! I'm a nearly 5-year-old lady who absolutely loves meeting new people. While I might get a little extra excited when someone new visits, I'll settle down after about 15 minutes. I enjoy playing with people, and I'm also perfectly content guarding the house by finding a comfy spot where I can keep an eye on things from the window.
I'm a smart cookie – I've never had an accident inside since my first day in my current home! I also know how to "sit" when asked, and I'm eager to learn more commands. I'm comfortable sleeping in a crate, but I've been sleeping on my own bed for the past few years. I enjoy company but I'm also fine being alone for a while if you need to go to work. If I'm left in a safe space, I'll happily relax, play with my toys, and gaze out the window until you return, ready to greet you with enthusiasm. Car rides are a breeze for me; I might watch the scenery initially, but I usually settle down after a bit.
A fenced-in backyard would be wonderful for me to romp around in with you, or for me to explore and then soak up some sun. I also enjoy walks, though I might bark at other dogs we encounter – I am working on this! Honestly, I'd prefer to be the only pet in the house so I can have all your attention and love to myself. While I adore playing with adults and older children, I'm not very comfortable around little ones, so I'd do best in a home with older, more respectful humans. If you have a home ready for lots of love and plenty of snuggles, I'm your girl!
Ideal Home
I would do best in a home with older children and no other pets. I would love a fenced-in yard to explore and run in.

All age-appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spay/neuter are included before adoption.
Training & Support
I know "sit" and am eager to learn more commands. I am still working on not barking at dogs on walks.
