Cookie is a ten-year-old Havanese who embodies gentle affection. At nine pounds, she's a small dog with a big heart, happiest when snuggled close to her people, enjoying quiet naps, neighborhood strolls, or the delight of a tasty treat. She has a lifetime of experience in companionship and truly shines when surrounded by those she adores. Cookie particularly enjoys the company of women and children, greeting familiar faces with enthusiasm. Despite her age, she still has plenty of pep and easily hops on and off furniture. She's not a big barker but is an excellent communicator.

Ideal Home

Cookie would thrive in a busy, connected family where she can be included in daily activities and be part of the action. She needs a family who can be with her throughout the day as she experiences significant separation anxiety and genuinely needs human companionship. Adopters should be able to include her in their daily lives and arrange doggy daycare or a trusted pet sitter when she cannot join.
