Flash

Hi! My name is Flash. I'm a friendly 6-7 year old Dalmatian-Labrador Retriever mix who found my way to a local shelter. Luckily, I was spotted on a video and knew I'd make a fantastic companion for a dog-loving family! I got my name Flash because I was so speedy in the video. Now I'm living in a kennel and enjoying playing in the yard and going on my daily walks. The walkers here are teaching me leash manners and how to sit for treats, but I do need an experienced dog owner with lots of patience as I've had no training and am a strong-bodied girl. I'm also not fond of other dogs, so I should be an only dog and would not be a good candidate for dog parks or doggie daycare. I am very friendly with my two-legged friends and love people! I'm great with older kids, but probably a bit too much dog for very young children. I am spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, so I'm ready to go anytime you call for me. I'm so looking forward to meeting my new family – could it be yours?

Ideal Home

An experienced dog owner with lots of patience. I should be the only dog in the home and would not do well in dog parks or doggie daycare. I am great with older children but may be too much for very young children.

Training & Support

I need an experienced dog owner with lots of patience as I've had no formal training. I am learning leash manners and to sit for treats, but will need continued guidance.
