Koda is the kind of dog who believes that if you're sitting down, there is probably room for him too. Bed? Room for Koda. Couch? Room for Koda. Family movie night? Definitely room for Koda. This affectionate, happy-hearted boy is equal parts adventure buddy and oversized cuddle bug, always ready for a park day, a car ride, or an evening spent snuggled right in the middle of the people he loves most.
Estimated to be around 1 year and 2 months old, weighing approximately 53 pounds, and looking very much like a Pittie mix, Koda is a rescue, so breed and age are simply our best guess. What we know for certain is that he is a loving, people-oriented dog with a big personality, an even bigger heart, and absolutely no concept of personal space when cuddles are available. Koda is currently thriving in a loving foster home where he has earned rave reviews for being a wonderful house dog. He has proven he can live successfully in an apartment setting, though his foster believes he would absolutely love a home with a fenced yard where he can stretch his legs, zoom around, and enjoy more outdoor adventures. Koda would do best with confident, dog-savvy feline friends rather than kittens, and would be happiest with a tolerant, playful dog who won't mind reminding him about personal space from time to time.

Koda is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system, ensuring every pet travels safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Our transport includes drop off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
