Meet Obi!

Obi is a 52 lb Boxer, Rottweiler, and Pit Bull mix, born in November 2025. He's a sweet, affectionate boy with an irresistible wiggly body who has successfully graduated from a 6-week board-and-train program and is ready to find his forever family! Obi forms strong bonds and genuinely enjoys one-on-one time with his humans. He's incredibly eager to please, making him a fun and rewarding companion. After a full day of exercise, training, and adventures, he'll happily curl up and sleep through the night in his crate like the good boy he is. If his future family allows it, he'd be just as happy snuggled up in bed with his favorite human. Obi is at an important stage in his life, ready to leave foster care behind and find the person or family he can truly bond with for the rest of his life. With continued consistency, structure, and love, Obi is going to make an incredible lifelong companion.

Ideal Home

Obi will thrive with an active family that understands his physical and mental exercise needs. Daily walks, hikes, games of fetch, training sessions, and other structured activities are important for his success. He would do best in a home without young children, as he is still a big, energetic puppy who is learning his manners and doesn't always realize his size. A tolerant canine companion or a home where he can continue learning appropriate play would be ideal, as his playful energy can be a bit much for some animals.

Training & Support

Obi is potty trained, crate trained, and leash trained. He has an excellent foundation in obedience and knows heel, place, sit, down, and down-stay. He is eager to continue learning with someone who will consistently reinforce his training.
