Say hello to Sable, the two-year-old Retriever mix who's mastered the art of being perfectly moderate. Weighing in at 55 lbs, Sable is the canine equivalent of a "just right" porridge. She's got a medium energy level that makes her happy with daily strolls or a good sniff around the yard. When it comes to feline friends, Sable's motto is "Cats? Never met them." Her social skills with humans and dogs are on point, though she's tolerant of most dogs, even if she doesn't appreciate those lacking manners. Sable is also the kind of girl who appreciates her routine. She’s mostly trained, but let's be honest, who isn't a work in progress? In terms of her living situation, Sable enjoys her personal space when alone – no couch potatoes or shoe munchers here! She's the low-maintenance companion you didn't know you needed, ready to bond over time and grow with someone who loves stability as much as she does. If you're looking for a dog who's perfectly balanced, Sable is your girl. An ideal day for her includes a good walk, a cozy nap, and being your understated shadow. She's not just a pet; she's a presence. Sable’s waiting for her perfectly matched human.
Ideal Home
Sable would do best in a home with a yard, though an apartment with a patio is also suitable. She prefers quiet environments and needs a home that respects her need for personal space when she's alone. Homes with children 10 years and over are recommended to ensure the best fit for both Sable and the family. She would prefer a home without cats.
Ongoing Health
No ongoing health conditions are noted.
Training & Support
Sable is mostly trained but is still a work in progress, as are most dogs! She prefers a calm environment and doesn't appreciate dogs who invade her personal space.
