Howden Biggie Pumpkin

Howden, a 2-year-old American Bulldog mix, has a heartwarming story of transformation. He came to us from a difficult hoarding situation where he was initially very fearful of humans, often cowering and trembling. But since being in rescue, Howden has blossomed and is slowly gaining confidence. He's still a bit shy with new people, but with a little patience, he's eager to make friends. Howden loves spending time outdoors in a yard and is a very curious boy. He has also shown himself to be wonderful with other dogs, enjoying playtime once he gets over his initial shyness.

Ideal Home

Howden would thrive in a home that can offer him the patience and understanding he needs as he continues to build his confidence. Slow introductions to new people and other dogs are a must. Due to his need for slow introductions, a home without children would be ideal. A confident canine companion to show him the ropes would be a big bonus!

Ongoing Health

Howden is up-to-date on vaccinations and has been neutered.

Training & Support

Howden is learning to walk nicely on a slip leash and is generally house-trained. He is interested in people who can give him a few minutes of quiet time when they first meet.
