Ziggy Stardust

Ziggy is a 10-year-old Poodle/Bichon mix who has overcome a lifetime of neglect with an incredibly sweet spirit. Despite losing his vision and most of his teeth, Ziggy remains a joyful, affectionate, and resilient dog who loves human company. He's silly, playful, and mischievous, but most of all, he loves being close to his people and curling up in a warm lap. Ziggy navigates his world with confidence and adapts remarkably well, even without sight. He's fully potty trained and sleeps through the night. Ziggy is a low-maintenance companion who simply needs a safe home, a soft bed, and a loving family to cherish him. In return, he offers unparalleled devotion.

Ideal Home

Ziggy would thrive in a home where he can be close to his people and included in everyday activities. He enjoys the company of other dogs and likely cats as well.

Ongoing Health

Ziggy is blind and has had most of his teeth removed. He has adapted well to his vision loss.

Training & Support

Ziggy is fully potty trained and sleeps through the night. He navigates his environment with confidence and requires minimal accommodations for his blindness. His new family will need to help him explore the outdoors gradually.
