Franc

Franc is an 11-year-old, 12-pound Shih Tzu mix with a heart of gold. He came to us after being found as a stray in terrible condition, buried under layers of severely matted fur that caused him immense pain and discomfort. Despite the unimaginable neglect he suffered, Franc is a gentle and kind soul. He seems to find comfort in the company of other dogs and is good with them. After receiving a much-needed shave and relief from his painful burdens, we're already seeing his true, beautiful self emerge. Franc is learning what it means to feel safe, loved, and to simply be a dog again. We know his past was difficult, but we are committed to ensuring his future is filled with warmth, patience, and kindness. He is truly worth the wait.

Ideal Home

A patient and loving home that understands Franc is still learning to trust and feel safe. A home with other dogs would be wonderful, as he finds comfort in their presence.

Ongoing Health

Franc has undergone extensive grooming to remove severe matting. He is now recovering and learning to live comfortably.

Training & Support

Franc is still adjusting to life without constant discomfort and learning to feel safe. Patience and gentle handling will be key to his continued adjustment.
