Leila

Meet Leila, a 4-year-old Lab mix with a loving, playful spirit. She came to the shelter as an owner surrender after her companion passed away, and the listing notes that she has been waiting since February 2024.

Ideal Home

Leila gets along wonderfully with other dogs and enjoys being social. She may feel more comfortable around women at first, but she can warm up to men with patience and time. She is looking for a caring family who will give her love, attention, and confidence.

Ongoing Health

Leila arrived heartworm positive, but she has completed treatment and is ready for her forever home.

Training & Support

Leila is energetic and may become jumpy when excited, but she also has a calm, gentle side. She can be shy at first; once comfortable, her loving and playful personality shines.
