Meet Cowboy!

Cowboy is a handsome male pup born on March 19, 2026. He's currently about 6 weeks old and weighs around 5 pounds, with an estimated adult weight of a medium to large size, similar to his mom who weighs about 60 pounds. Cowboy's mom was rescued as a stray, and he and his siblings were born safely in foster care. He's a bundle of joy, super sweet, and friendly with everyone he meets, including dogs, cats, and kids. Cowboy loves belly rubs, playing with his foster siblings in the yard, and snuggling up in laps. He enjoys romping and playing but also cherishes cuddle time.

Ideal Home

Cowboy would thrive in a home with a fully fenced yard or an active family who can help him burn off his puppy energy. He would likely enjoy having another dog to learn from, but it's not a requirement.

Ongoing Health

Cowboy will be adopted out on a neuter contract and will be neutered between 6 months and 1 year of age. He will be fully vaccinated and microchipped before adoption.

Training & Support

Cowboy is working on potty training and is catching on quickly. He is also gradually being introduced to crate training and currently does well in a baby-gated room. All puppies under 1 year old are strongly encouraged to attend puppy obedience classes.

Cowboy is currently in a foster home in Houston, TX, and can be transported to an adopter once arrangements are made.
