Gracie Lou

Gracie Lou is a sweet 14-year-old girl who was unfortunately left at an overcrowded shelter. Despite being mostly deaf and blind, she navigates her foster home and yard with impressive skill. Gracie is a loving companion who gets along well with everyone, furry friends included. She's dreaming of a quiet home where she can spend her golden years being pampered like the princess she is, with a cozy lap and plenty of warm blankets. She is up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and spayed.

Training & Support

While Gracie manages well in her foster home, new environments can sometimes lead to accidents, even with well-trained animals. Patience and a consistent routine will help her settle in.

Application Details:

• Applications begin by contacting us through Wags.
• There is no fee to apply.
• All dogs have an adoption fee of $175, which includes a vet check, age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies vaccination (if at least 16 weeks), and spay/neuter.
• Puppies/dogs not yet ready for adoption can be reserved with an approved application and a $50 non-refundable deposit. This deposit is applied to the adoption fee, with the remaining $125 due at pickup. The deposit can only be submitted after Wags and Whiskers has contacted you regarding your application approval and requested it.
