Asteroid

Meet Asteroid, a handsome Shepherd/Lab mix puppy with a heart full of love and a wiggle full of joy! He's about 16 weeks old and tipped the scales at just under 18 pounds on June 21st, 2026. Asteroid is part of a litter of five adorable puppies, and while he's enjoyed the puppy pile, he's now dreaming of his very own forever home. He's a playful pup who loves his toys and needs to get his zoomies out, but he also cherishes snuggle time in between bursts of energy. He's eager to explore his new neighborhood on walks and is looking forward to making lots of doggie friends.

Ideal Home

Asteroid is looking for a home where he can play, get his energy out, and then enjoy some well-deserved snuggles. He's excited about the prospect of joining a family and making doggie friends. He's also ready to attend puppy obedience classes to show off his smarts.

Ongoing Health

Puppies under 6 months require multiple potty breaks and exercise throughout the day. Adopters with standard 8-hour workdays must be willing to make arrangements to meet Asteroid's needs. Asteroid has received age-appropriate vaccines, but adopters are responsible for ensuring he completes his remaining puppy vaccinations on schedule. Until he is fully vaccinated, he is at greater risk for illness.

Training & Support

Asteroid is learning commands and working on potty training. He sleeps in his crate. He will need to attend obedience school to grow into a well-socialized dog.
