Meet Canyon Journey!

Canyon is an approximately 2-month-old puppy weighing around 12 lbs. We believe he might be a Pit Bull/Lab mix, but in rescue, it's always our best guess! This adorable pup is brimming with love, puppy sweetness, and an endless supply of cuddles. Like many puppies from overcrowded shelters, Canyon is searching for a loving family to give him the bright future he deserves. Canyon sports a gorgeous black coat with charming white markings, making him look ready for any special occasion. With his soft puppy fur, sweet eyes, and irresistible baby face, he's the kind of puppy who captures hearts instantly.

This little guy is a professional snuggler! Canyon's favorite activity is climbing into your lap, showering you with puppy kisses, and getting as close to you as possible. If you're sitting, he'll likely find his way onto your lap before you know it. He's also a playful puppy who enjoys toys, wrestling with his siblings, and turning anything into a game. Whether romping with his brothers or proudly carrying a toy, Canyon approaches life with pure happiness and enthusiasm.

Ideal Home

Canyon needs a family committed to training, socialization, establishing a routine, and providing plenty of patience. Creating structure, boundaries, and positive experiences early on will help him grow into a confident, well-rounded adult dog.

Training & Support

Canyon is still learning about the world and will need a family dedicated to his training and socialization. We require adopters to begin crate training immediately upon arrival home, which aids in potty training, confidence building, and developing healthy habits.

• The adoption fee is $1200, which includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high-quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, the cost of transport*, and years of love and loyal companionship).
• A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs.
• Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.

Transportation

We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. Every pet travels safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. You can track your pet's journey in real-time, receive photo updates, and connect with fellow adopters and fosters through our private Facebook event page. You will meet your pet via a video call before adoption finalization.
