Emirate

Emirate is a very active young male brindle and white American Staffordshire Terrier mix who is as sweet as can be! He loves kids and being around people, and will happily sit in your lap for some affection. Emirate is also good with other dogs, but he does tend to want to chase cats, though he doesn't seem to have any intentions of attacking them. He doesn't bark much; even when he sees deer at the back door, he remains quiet and curious. He loves stuffed animals and is great for car rides, sitting calmly in the seat.

Ideal Home

Emirate would thrive in an active home with plenty of love and attention to give. He would do best in a home without cats.

Ongoing Health

Emirate is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Emirate is food-driven and is learning to walk nicely on a leash. He is also working on his "sit" and "down" commands, sometimes knowing them. He is crate-trained and adapting well. While he may whine at first when crated, he calms down and sleeps through the night.
