Meet Lucy!
This loyal, two-year-old Great Pyrenees/Labrador Retriever/Shepherd mix is a gentle burst of sunshine. Weighing about 65 pounds, Lucy finds joy in life's simple pleasures: a sunny spot in the backyard, a comfortable deck to lounge on, and her cherished plush lamb. While she enjoys a good walk and a chance to stretch her legs in a spacious yard, her favorite pastime is soaking up the sunshine and keeping close to the people she loves. Lucy has received formal obedience training and is mastering commands like sit, place, down, stay, come, and heel. She walks nicely on a leash, comes when called, and settles comfortably into her daily routine. She can relax on her own for six to seven hours during the day and happily sleeps in her crate at night. She also enjoys car rides and loves being included in everyday adventures! Lucy is affectionate, medium-energy, and wonderfully devoted, forming strong bonds with her family and wishing she could spend every moment by their side. She can be cautiously excited when meeting new people, but her friendly nature shines through once she feels comfortable.
Ideal Home
Lucy is searching for a calm, quiet home where she can relax, ideally in a rural setting with a large fenced yard. She would do well with adults or families with older children who can provide a more peaceful environment. She is not suitable for a home with young children or cats.
Ongoing Health
Lucy is spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and has no medical or dietary restrictions.
Training & Support
Lucy has received formal obedience training and is mastering several commands. She is house-trained and sleeps comfortably in her crate at night. Because Lucy is sensitive to high-energy environments, she may respond by growling and engaging in 'ball-herding' behaviors when children become rowdy or the energy level rises. With structure, patience, and a calm routine, Lucy's affectionate, easygoing personality will shine.
