Not only is his personality the absolute best but he's also stinking adorable! I mean, just look at that forever puppy dog face, those soul wrenching sweet eyes of his, and the ears! So floppy and so perfect.
Onyx Baby is believed to be a pittie mix approximately 7 months old and currently weighs 33 lbs. He is a rescue dog and with any rescue, its always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age.
Ideal Home
Onyx would thrive in a home with a back yard where he can romp around, stretch his legs, play with his toys, and relax in the sun. In all honesty though, he is completely happy being a total couch potato as well. So get ready for lazy Sunday movie marathon snuggles with Onyx because that's what's going to happen. He'll enjoy mini adventures as well, just be prepared to be stopped by everyone because hes so stinking cute. Onyx is the best of both worlds in our eyes. We haven't seen Onyx around kids yet, but we can absolutely test that for you. Based on what we already know about him, we believe he would make a great family dog. He would be happiest in a home with another dog, as he follows his foster's dogs around like a little brother. He is also respectful of cats and did not chase the resident cat, Biggie. We can arrange for him to have a sleepover with a cat upon request.

Training & Support
Onyx is already so well behaved and according to his foster, already has wonderful house manners too. Onyx comes prepped already knowing a couple of basic commands such as "sit" and is so gentle when he takes treats. He loves treats, is eager to please, and has already proven he's a smart little boy. Onyx is crate trained and is working on his potty training. His foster reports that he has it down for the most part but when left for long hours, he does occasionally have an accident.

An $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
