This adorable 112-year-old, 19.6-pound cream-and-white Maltipoo mix is ready to find a loving forever home. Willy is a sweet boy looking for a calm, patient family that will help him continue to grow in confidence and enjoy all the comforts of being a cherished companion. He has a gentle, loving personality and enjoys spending time close to his people, cuddling, relaxing indoors, and playing with his favorite toys. While he can be protective of his toys around other dogs, he is happiest when he has a family of his own to spoil him with attention and affection. Willy prefers a quieter lifestyle where he can feel safe and secure and is eager to learn and would greatly benefit from an obedience class or two.

Ideal Home

Willy would do well in a home with a gentle teenager. He would prefer to be the only dog in the home, although he may do well with a calm, submissive female canine companion. Busy dog parks are not his style; he prefers a quieter lifestyle where he can feel safe and secure. Small children will be too overwhelming for him.

Ongoing Health

Willy has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, and dewormed. As a Maltipoo, he will require regular professional grooming to keep his beautiful coat healthy and looking its best.

Training & Support

Willy is learning household routines and is doing well with the command "Go Potty" and using a doggy door. He walks nicely on a leash and will need continued potty training and consistency as he settles into his new home. He is eager to learn and would greatly benefit from an obedience class or two, which will help strengthen his confidence and bond with his new family. He can be protective of his toys around other dogs.

Willy is located at our shelter. We can transport him to approved adopters within a 3-hour radius of our shelter location.
