Flacko

Meet Flacko! This handsome 8-month-old German Shepherd Dog mix is a certified good boy weighing around 40lbs. Flacko is a ball of energy and affection, eager to please his people and make new friends. He loves people and other dogs, and while he'd like to be best buds with the foster cat, his enthusiasm might be a bit much for some kitties. Flacko is a quick learner and enjoys snuggling, especially after a good play session. He's a huge fan of pool time and will entertain himself with his favorite toys.

Ideal Home

Flacko would thrive in a home with an experienced adopter who can help him navigate the world with confidence. He enjoys playing with other dogs of various sizes and has been great with a 10-year-old nephew, so he'd likely enjoy human siblings to play with. However, he does need supervision around smaller children due to his puppy manners, such as jumping and leash pulling.

Flacko is up to date on his vaccinations and is neutered.

Training & Support

Flacko is working on his puppy manners, specifically jumping and pulling on a leash. He would benefit from continued training and supervision in these areas. He is house and crate trained.

Transporation

Flacko is currently in a foster home in Houston, TX. He can be transported out of state once an approved adopter is found. Transports run every few weeks, and he will be on the next available transport once approved.
