Dexter

Dexter is a loving guy who takes his time to warm up to new people. He likes to do things on his own terms, and if you allow him to transition into his new home without rushing the process, he'll do wonderfully. Dexter enjoys the company of other dogs, but he's not a fan of cats or small children. He's looking for a home that will embrace him as a part of the family, with him living inside as a beloved companion.

Ideal Home

Dexter needs a home with a securely fenced yard; underground fencing is not an option, nor is a "kennel" in the yard. While exceptions might be made for apartment living depending on the dog, a yard is generally preferred. He is looking for a home without cats or small children.

Ongoing Health

Dexter is neutered.

Training & Support

Dexter can be shy and takes time to warm up to new people. It's important to let him approach you on his own terms and avoid pushing him too quickly.
