Austin approaches life with the confidence of a puppy who assumes every adventure is going to be fun, and honestly, he's usually right. He's the first to bounce into playtime, the first to investigate a new sound, and apparently the first willing to leap dramatically through the air if there's a chance someone else's treat might taste better than his. After all the wrestling matches and puppy antics are over, though, he melts into your arms like being held is still the greatest comfort in the world.
This Spaniel/Beagle mix is playful, observant, and full of personality. Austin and his sister spend their days tumbling around together, curling up side by side for naps, and carefully exploring the world with equal parts curiosity and caution. He's already learning routines quickly and responds beautifully to training, especially when treats are involved. Austin has a wonderfully balanced personality – energetic enough for puppy games and backyard zoomies, but gentle enough to happily settle into cuddle time when things quiet down.
Ideal Home
Because he so enjoys having a canine playmate nearby, it would be especially wonderful if Austin joined a home with another playful dog.
