Milk

Meet Milk! Milk is a 9-month-old puppy who was rescued from the Redlands, a rural agricultural area in South Florida known for its high number of stray and abandoned dogs. He's still adjusting to life at the shelter, and while he's made great progress, he has a calm but very nervous demeanor. Milk is particularly sensitive and terrified of the leash right now. He needs a patient and understanding home that can respect his boundaries and help him build confidence.

Ideal Home

Milk would thrive with adopters who understand shy or sensitive dogs and can provide gentle guidance and reassurance. We would not recommend him for households with small children. He does well with other dogs and may do best in a home with another confident canine companion to help guide him.

Ongoing Health

Milk is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

As a young puppy, Milk is still learning house training. He will benefit from consistent routines, positive reinforcement, and slow, patient exposure to new experiences.
