Major Perfect (almost)

My name is Major Perfect, and I'm a handsome 4-year-old guy weighing in at 20 pounds. I'm looking for my forever person, someone who wants a loyal best friend, walking buddy, couch companion, and all-around sidekick. I was found as a stray, and after 30 days with no owner found, I'm ready for a fresh start and a family to call my own. I absolutely adore people and am happiest when I'm spending time with my humans. I'm house-trained, know my basic commands, and have all the qualities of an ideal roommate – unconditional love and plenty of companionship!

Ideal Home

I'm the jealous type and would do best as the only dog in the home. I don't mind walking past other dogs, but I'd much rather have all your attention to myself. If you have experience managing dogs who are not keen on other dogs and understand how to respect boundaries, that could also work!

• Our adoption fee is $525, which includes spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention, and travel expenses.

Transportation

I am currently out of town but will be transported to my adopter when I am adopted. All fees include transport. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area. Once an animal has an application or an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If I am already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed.
