Howdy

Howdy is a bundle of joy with a heart full of puppy love! This sweet boy's mom was rescued as a stray, and thankfully, she delivered a healthy litter in a safe environment. Howdy was born on March 19, 2026, and at 10 weeks old (as of May 30, 2026), he's a playful and friendly pup who gets along with everyone, including dogs, cats, and children. His foster mom describes him as a sweet little pup who loves belly rubs and playing with his foster siblings in the yard. Howdy is full of personality and enjoys both romping around and cuddling up for snuggles.

Ideal Home

Howdy would thrive in a home with a fully fenced yard or with an active family that can help him burn off his puppy energy. He would also love to have another dog in the home to show him the ropes, though this is not a requirement.

Ongoing Health

Howdy will be ready for adoption at 12 weeks old, once fully vaccinated and microchipped. He is expected to grow into a medium to large-sized dog, with an estimated adult weight based on his mother's size. He will be adopted out on a neuter contract and will be neutered between 6 months and 1 year of age.

Training & Support

Howdy is still working on potty training and crate training. He is catching on quickly and his foster family is diligently working with him. All puppies under one year of age are strongly encouraged to attend puppy obedience classes.
