Meet Bastian!
Bastian is a 7-year-old, 7.3 lb male Chihuahua x Yorkie mix who is good with other dogs, but honestly prefers his people. This sweet little gentleman has a singular life goal: find humans and acquire ALL the pets. He has a built-in human-detection system that works from afar. Even in a crowded room full of dogs, Bastian will zero in on the nearest person like a heat-seeking missile of affection. Other dogs are fine, but people are what he's here for! He's the perfect blend of Chihuahua sass and Yorkie devotion, meaning he has opinions but is also completely devoted to his favorite humans. Bastian actively seeks out attention and will make sure you know he's there for his regularly scheduled affection appointment. He's a tiny, furry reminder that you should be petting a dog right now.
Ideal Home
Bastian would be happiest as an only dog where he doesn't have to share the spotlight, but could also work in a home with other chill dogs who won't compete for human attention. He needs a home that understands his mission in life is to be adored and is willing to provide ample opportunities for him to fulfill that destiny.
Ongoing Health
All dogs are examined by our veterinarian and are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations at the time of adoption. We share all known medical information, but we cannot guarantee future health or rule out underlying conditions.
Training & Support
When we note that a dog is "potty trained," this refers to reliable crate training, not confirmed freeroam house training. Accidents are normal during the transition to a new home, and additional training should be expected.
