Daisy Sue is a 2-year-old, 35-pound female Pointer and Australian Cattle dog mix who is spayed. She's a bundle of joy, playfulness, and sweetness, known for her adorable zoomies, affectionate cuddles, and love for other dogs. Daisy was rescued from a euthanasia list at a county shelter after being returned, and she's incredibly deserving of a second chance. She truly is a Dollop of Daisy, bringing happiness wherever she goes!
Ideal Home
Daisy would thrive in an active home that can provide plenty of exercise, whether through daily walks, playtime with another dog, or a securely fenced yard for her to explore. She would also love a canine companion to play and learn from, as she gets along wonderfully with other dogs of all sizes and genders. Children 10 years or older who understand how to respectfully interact with a shy dog would be a good fit. A calm home with a predictable routine, rather than a busy household with many visitors, would be ideal for this sensitive soul. While she can be left alone, it’s best to keep shoes put away, as she finds them fascinating!
Ongoing Health
Daisy is a healthy and happy pup with no known health conditions.
Training & Support
Daisy is a smart and well-mannered girl! She is fully house-trained with no accidents, walks beautifully on leash without reactivity, and is crate-trained, sleeping soundly in her crate at night. She also has no issues with resource guarding and politely shares her toys and treats. Her food motivation makes training a fun and easy process. While she can be initially shy and may bark when meeting new people, especially men, she warms up with patience and gentle encouragement.
