Luther

Luther is a 4-year-old Poodle mix with a high-medium energy level, weighing approximately 30-40 pounds. He's a bit underweight and is very excited to meet you! Luther appears to have a high prey drive, so a committed adopter ready to work on potty, crate, and leash training, as well as proper socialization in a home setting, is ideal.

Ideal Home

Luther would do best in a home with a fenced yard. He is not good with cats and prefers to be the only dog, or at least not a small dog. He can live with children aged 5 and up.

Ongoing Health

Luther is underweight and will need a dedicated owner to help him reach a healthy weight. He has received a general check-up, deworming, flea and tick treatment, heartworm test, age-appropriate vaccinations for distemper, rabies (if over 4 months old), and is microchipped. He will need to be neutered, and a $50 refundable deposit is required until proof of sterilization is provided. An active relationship with a veterinarian must be established within 10 days of adoption.

Training & Support

Luther will need consistent training for potty, crate, and leash manners. He also requires socialization within a home environment.
