She loves puzzle toys, treat-dispensing games, squeaky toys, ropes, and chew toys. Coraline would benefit from a family that understands she can be a bit nervous in busy public areas, but with more exposure and socialization, she has the potential to be an amazing outdoor adventure buddy. She would adore a family that includes her in their outdoor adventures while also appreciating her calm, affectionate nature at home. Coraline needs a fenced yard to run and play in and does best with her human home more often than not, though doggy daycare a few days a week would be fine. Training & Support

Coraline is potty trained and kennel trained. She is still working on mastering leash training and needs additional practice to boost her confidence on walks. She is treat-motivated and will walk beside you with rewards. She alerts her foster mom when she needs to go outside by pacing at the back door and can use a doggy door. She needs to be taken out every 3-4 hours on a consistent schedule until she settles into her new routine. Using a doggy doorbell is recommended if you don't have a doggy door.

Transportation

Adoptive families will need to meet the transport to pick up their new family member. Dogs are adopted to their forever families prior to transport, and meet-and-greets are not available due to transport distance.
