Herman had a rough start to life, so he's looking for a patient and understanding adopter who can help him build trust and feel safe. Once he opens up, his sweet and affectionate personality truly shines! He loves going for walks, playing with his toys, a good game of fetch, and joining in on car rides. Ideal Home

Herman would do best as the only dog in a quiet, adult-only home where he can feel secure and continue building confidence. He is potty trained and would thrive with easy outdoor access or a doggy door. Because of his past, he can be reactive when there are a lot of dogs or people around, so a calmer environment is key.

Ongoing Health

Herman is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccines.

Training & Support

Herman responds well to guidance and will benefit from continued training with an experienced handler. He needs an adopter willing to give him the time he needs to build trust and confidence.
