Meet Mona! This beautiful 2-year-old Mountain Cur mix is a sweet, smart, and active girl looking for her forever home. Mona came to us with other dogs when her owner fell on hard times, and now she's ready to start her best life. She's an energetic goofball who absolutely adores stuffed toys! Mona is independent but enjoys affection, and she's a great walking companion, eager to explore with her nose. While she sometimes wants to greet everyone she meets, she's a good listener and will come back when called.

Ideal Home

Mona would thrive in a home where she can get plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. She enjoys her own space but also loves to be with her people.

Ongoing Health

Mona is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Mona is learning to be a real dog and is doing well with leash manners and recall. Continued positive reinforcement will help her continue to grow!

Transportation

Mona is located in Buffalo, NY. We are located in South Carolina and transport to the northeast weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up their pet. We provide local or virtual meet-and-greets with an application on file.
