Tanner is a sweet and shy 3-year-old male, weighing in at 23 lbs. He was found as an abandoned stray in South Carolina, and the world can feel like a big, scary place for a small pup. Tanner is looking for a patient and loving home where he can build his confidence. He's likely to do well with other dogs and cats, and he'll certainly benefit from having a canine companion to help him feel more secure. Tanner is still new to rescue, so we're learning more about him every day, but we know he deserves a chance to know he's safe and loved.

Tanner would thrive in a home that can offer him plenty of TLC and time to adjust. He would likely do best in a home with another dog to help him build confidence and feel more secure.
