Meet Mica!
Mica is an 11-month-old Terrier with a gentle heart, a brilliant mind, and so much potential. She recently graduated from the Puppies for Parole program, and she's ready to embark on her next adventure with a loving family! This sweet girl is incredibly smart and picks up new skills quickly. She already responds to commands like "No," "Yes," and "Off," and she even knows how to give a high five when asked to "Shake!" She is currently working on "Leave It," "Drop It," "Place," and sitting politely for attention.
While Mica is making wonderful progress, she is still sometimes timid. New people and large groups of strangers can be overwhelming for her, and she tends to be shy and skittish when meeting unfamiliar faces. Because of this, Mica will need a patient family willing to continue building her confidence and helping her navigate the world at her own pace. One thing that does bring Mica out of her shell? Other dogs! She absolutely loves playing with canine friends and has a special soft spot for puppies. She does great with other dogs and gains confidence from having them around.
Ideal Home
Mica needs a patient family who can continue to build her confidence and help her navigate the world at her own pace. Because she can be fearful and may try to flee when startled, Mica will require a securely fenced yard to keep her safe while she continues to gain confidence.

Training & Support
Mica is still working on commands such as "Leave It," "Drop It," and "Place." She is also learning to sit politely for attention. She gains confidence from the presence of other dogs.
