Chance

Meet Chance, a wonderfully sweet and soulful 4-year-old neutered and vaccinated Staffie mix. He was rescued from an overcrowded shelter in Houston after being abandoned in an apartment. Chance has an old soul, and you can see it in his gentle eyes. He's the perfect blend of sweet, goofy, and loving, always sporting a big smile that's sure to brighten your day!

Ideal Home

Chance would thrive in a home with a relaxed, predictable routine. He would do well as the beloved only dog soaking up all the attention, or he could be a wonderful companion in a home with older kids and another dog his size. Due to his strong prey drive, cats will not be a good fit for Chance.

Chance is up-to-date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Chance is fully house-trained and sleeps through the night. He can stay home alone without issue and is not a fan of closed crates but enjoys naps in open crates or comfy spots around the house. He enjoys walks but can be a little stubborn when something catches his attention, like squirrels. However, the word "cookie" is a great motivator to bring him back to attention! His love of treats makes him a great candidate for continued training.
