Kirby

Kirby is a very loving dog with a big, big personality! He has some vision loss, but that doesn't stop him from enjoying life. He's doing great with his food bowl guarding training and will go to his kennel for meals. He occasionally has accidents in the house, but thrives with a regular potty schedule.

Ideal Home

Kirby would love a home with another dog who can help him settle into a new routine. He is fine with cats who keep to themselves. Kirby is not a good fit for a household with young children, as he likes to jump up and use his paws to say hello. A single-level home would be ideal due to his vision loss, though he can manage a few steps.

Ongoing Health

Kirby has some vision loss, which makes him a special needs dog.

Training & Support

Kirby has been working on not guarding his food bowl and does well when kenneled for meals. He can occasionally have accidents but does well on a schedule with regular potty breaks.
