Mia is a sweet Belgian Malinois mix who is nervous in the shelter but becomes affectionate and cuddly once she knows you. She loves toys, which help her come out of her shell, and she walks nicely on a leash. With time in a home, she may become more comfortable and energetic.

Ideal Home

Mia would do best with an active adopter and a fenced yard. Malinois experience would be a bonus. She needs children age 10 or older due to her fearfulness. She is nervous but not aggressive with dogs and needs very slow, monitored introductions; high-energy, pushy dogs are currently overwhelming. She is curious but somewhat fearful of cats.

Mia's adoption fee includes her spay, vaccinations, deworming, microchip, heartworm testing, and a free wellness exam.
