Luna

Luna is a sweet and silly girl who is looking for her second chance at a forever home. She was previously adopted as a younger pup but was returned to the shelter due to her being overwhelmed by a new baby in the home. Luna enjoys digging and running around, but also loves to snuggle up under the covers for a nap. She is housebroken and knows how to sit and shake paw. Her kennel is her safe space, and she relies on it to feel secure. Luna has some dislikes including loud noises, raised voices, thunderstorms, and baths. She can also be protective of her people and has nipped in the past when she felt defensive. She is looking for a home without small children where her boundaries will be respected and she can feel safe. Once she trusts her humans, Luna is a total lovebug who will shower them with affection and give playful "love nibbles" when excited. She is a loyal, goofy, and fiercely loving companion.

Ongoing Health

All of our dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date with age appropriate vaccinations, heart worm or feleuk/FIV tested, fecal tested, rabies and tag, and microchipped before being placed in your home. Our adoption fee helps cover this cost.

Training & Support

Luna is housebroken and knows how to sit and shake paw. She can be protective and has nipped in the past when feeling defensive, so she needs an understanding owner who will help her feel safe.
