Doo-yoo is a beautiful 2.5-year-old Jindo mix who weighs about 38lbs. She is a sweet, affectionate girl who loves people of all ages and is friendly with dogs of all sizes. While she hasn't lived with cats, she shows no aggression when she sees them outside. Doo-yoo enjoys playtime and then curling up for a nap. She walks well on a leash, rarely barks, and doesn't suffer from separation anxiety, making her an easygoing pup who thrives on love and attention. Her estimated adoption fee is $475.

Ideal Home

Doo-yoo would do best in a home that can provide plenty of love and attention. We typically do not adopt to homes with children under 8 years old.

Ongoing Health

Doo-yoo is spayed and is up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations.

Training & Support

While Doo-yoo is an easygoing pup, some rescue dogs may need a little extra time adjusting to home life. Patience, understanding, and gentle guidance will help her continue to blossom into a confident companion. We do not recommend leaving dogs alone for more than 4 hours. If you expect to be away longer, we strongly encourage doggy daycare or another appropriate care option.

• A home check is required before adoption.
• Applicants must have a social media account for post-adoption updates.
• Once your application is approved, we will request a copy of your identification through a secure app and/or complete a background screening.
• Applicants must be at least 25 years old and live within a 45-minute driving distance of Springfield, Virginia (Northern Virginia and the Washington, DC suburbs only).

Transportation

Doo-yoo is currently in a foster home in Korea and will be transported to the U.S. once adopted. In-person meet-and-greets are not possible due to her location. We are happy to provide detailed information, photos, and videos to help you get to know her better.
