Max - LONGTIME RESIDENT

Max is a sweet, 2-year-old Pit Bull Terrier who has been patiently waiting for his forever family. He arrived at the shelter in May 2026 and is eager to leave the noisy environment for a quieter, loving home. Max is a dog who truly deserves a second chance.

Max would thrive in a home where he can get all the attention he deserves. We are still learning about his preferences, but he's ready to start his new life!

Max is neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations. He is healthy and ready to find his forever family.

Training & Support

Max is not yet house-trained and will need some guidance and patience in his new home to learn the ropes. With consistent training and positive reinforcement, he'll surely catch on quickly!

Transporation

Max is currently located at the Kern County Animal Services - Bakersfield Shelter. Companion Animal Protection Services (CAPS) can arrange transportation for Max if you are located on the West Coast. Please note that adopters are responsible for any associated transport fees.
