Nala

Nala is a 4-year-old dog who will celebrate her 5th birthday in June. She's a sweet girl who has been through a lot lately. Unfortunately, due to some challenging circumstances, her family needs to find her a new loving home where she can get the attention and care she deserves. Nala has had some negative experiences, particularly at the vet, which have made her a bit fearful of new situations. She can be a little nervous around new people and might bark, but she has never bitten anyone. She is looking for a home where she can enjoy playtime, like fetch and tug-of-war, and receive plenty of love.

Nala would thrive in a home with owners who have the time to dedicate to her. She needs a patient and understanding family who can help her feel safe and build her confidence.

Ongoing Health

Nala is due for vaccinations, as her family is about 6 months to over a year behind on her shots.

Training & Support

Nala could benefit from some leash training as she tends to pull. She is a playful dog who enjoys roughhousing, so a family that can match her energy would be wonderful. She has the potential to be a great guard dog, as she barks at unfamiliar faces.
