Annie

Annie is a sweet, spunky Shih Tzu and Poodle mix, estimated to be around 20 lbs when fully grown. This 3-4 month old pup, weighing in at 7 lbs, is affectionate, loving, and adores attention. Annie is curious by nature and the first to investigate new things, making her a confident explorer. She's a social butterfly who loves meeting new people and furry friends, making her the perfect companion for an active family ready for adventures. Annie has a wonderful ability to be playful and curious one moment, and a laid-back cuddle bug the next, happy as long as she's with her humans. She's also great at entertaining herself, whether playing with toys or napping. Annie's adaptable personality means she'd thrive in various homes, equally happy with an active family who enjoys the outdoors or a cozy household for snuggles.

Ideal Home

Annie would love an active family that enjoys walks, exploring, and including her in everyday activities. She'd also be happy with a family who prefers cozy evenings at home filled with snuggles. A fenced yard for play and exploration would be ideal. Annie would thrive with another playful, friendly dog and some children to cuddle and play with, but would also be content as the "only child" receiving all the love. She would love to go on outings around town or to Sniff Spots for enrichment. She would love if her human works from home or works a hybrid schedule, but cannot go 8+ hours without playtime and potty breaks, so a dog sitter or day care is recommended if you have longer days at work occasionally. Public dog parks are not recommended for Annie.

Training & Support

Annie is kennel trained and potty trained, and has started on leash training. She sleeps in her kennel at night and naps in it during the day. She will alert her foster family when she needs to go outside by circling at the back door. Using a doggy doorbell is recommended. She needs a consistent schedule and to be taken out every few hours initially. She is doing well with potty training and picks up new schedules quickly. She needs a watchful eye to ensure she doesn't chew on human toys while teething.

• The adoption cost is $850, which includes a $400 adoption fee, a $250 transport fee, and a $200 refundable spay deposit. The adoption fee includes all age-appropriate vaccinations, microchip, flea/tick/heartworm prevention, health certificate, and any necessary vet care. The spay deposit is paid directly to the adopter's vet once the dog is old enough. The transport fee covers transportation.

Transporation

Annie is available for adoption and transport to various cities and states. Transport is monthly, and adoptive families will need to meet the transport to pick up their new family member. Meet and greets prior to transport are not possible due to transport distance.
