Chip is a 2-year-old, neutered male Pit bull mix weighing about 60 lbs. He's as sweet as a chocolate chip cookie and is searching for his forever home! Chip is a playful, curious, and loving dog looking for an experienced adopter who can provide patience, safety, and endless love. He's a certified lover boy who loves to cuddle and be around his people, often described as a "Velcro dog" who will be your shadow. While he can be a bit cautious when first meeting new people, once he trusts you, he'll be your best friend forever! Chip adores his people, loves to go on sniffing walks (and does well on the leash), is crate-trained and potty-trained, and loves being outdoors. He's also quite the fashionista and is known for rocking any outfit! Chip has done well with calm foster dog siblings and enjoys playing with them. We highly recommend slow introductions to other dogs and think he would do best with calm/submissive doggy siblings that are happy to engage with him. He would also do well as an only dog in the house if he could go on outings regularly. Chip kindly asks that he not live with any cats.
Ideal Home
Chip's ideal humans would enjoy having him as their right-hand man. They should understand that he can be anxious when left alone but is working on his separation anxiety and can be crated. He would thrive with a family that can keep up with his training and would love to work with him. Chip would happily accompany you on outings, as he is thrilled to go on car rides, walks, and see the world with his people. He has also done well around older children. Chip does not wish to live with any cats.
