Dottie

Dottie is a 4-year-old, 62-pound girl who is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed, and she's ready to find her forever home! She's a big cuddle bug who loves to play and is a very loyal companion. Dottie is goofy, has a lot of personality, and is sure to make you laugh. She just wants to be by your side! Dottie is incredibly intelligent and food-motivated, so she picks up on training very quickly.

Ideal Home

Dottie would do best in a moderately active home, enjoying at least one good walk or play session a day. She has a moderate to high energy level and enjoys running and playing, but she's also happiest cuddling up with her people. She does well with one or two calm, big dogs, or she would also thrive as the only pet. She is cat-friendly and lives with cats in her foster home, generally leaving them alone unless they initiate play. Dottie has issues with younger men/boys and would do best in a home without them or an all-female home. She is great meeting women.

Training & Support

Dottie is fully potty trained and crate trained. While she sometimes whines when left to free-roam, she settles down without causing damage and enjoys her crate. She walks calmly on a leash but will pull and bark if she sees another dog. She is very intelligent and food-motivated, making her a quick learner with training.

Transporation

Dottie is currently in a foster home in Houston, TX and is available for virtual meet & greets. She is eligible for transport to an adopter as soon as one is lined up.
