Meet Denver, our handsome shepherd mix who's got a recipe for a great companion! Denver is a loyal, independent, and sweet dog who just needs a little time to warm up to new people. He's a bit shy at first, like a sandwich still toasting, but once he's comfortable, he's truly worth the wait. He seems to especially enjoy the company of men, but with patience, he's happy to add anyone to his circle of friends.

Ideal Home

Denver would thrive in a home with plenty of space, like a farm, acreage, or rural property. He enjoys having room to roam, opportunities to supervise "chores," and keeping an eye on critters. He'd love to feel like an important member of the household!

Ongoing Health

Denver is currently on a wellness program to help him reach his ideal weight. He can be a bit anxious about vet visits, especially needles. To ensure a safe and comfortable experience for everyone, he wears a comfort muzzle during appointments.

Training & Support

Denver walks nicely and doesn't react to passing vehicles or other dogs. However, he does have a strong prey drive and may be tempted by birds. He loves to play with tennis balls and soccer balls and enjoys splashing in a kiddie pool.
